Koh Chang - Nomadays
Koh Chang

Pearl of Trat Province, the third largest island in Thailand, is adorned with natural treasures. Included in the Mu Ko Chang National Park, this paradisiacal island is rich in underwater biodiversity and wild expanses.

Koh Chang attracts visitors with its natural charm and authentic side. With few roads crossing it, travelers are much fewer than on Phuket, for example, where calm prevails for a peaceful stay.

A brief presentation of the island

Continental Koh Chang has 212 km2 of mountain landscape, lush jungle, and beaches. With many shades of blue, the coastal waters are home to a great diversity of corals and marine animals.

Nicknamed the "elephant island," Koh Chang is a peaceful oasis for pachyderms. You can encounter them, but be careful not to succumb to a ride on their backs; prefer a refuge to avoid participating in their mistreatment.

Today, a booming tourist site

Business is booming for the island's tourism actors. In search of escape and exoticism, travelers are increasingly numerous each year. The luxury hotel sector is flourishing. Several brands are in full swing in the high season, even if calm still reigns. Koh Chang is developing but retains its authentic charm.
