Where is Sandoway located?

Ngapali’s beaches, 400 km north of Rangoon, await travelers. Sandoway Resort opened its doors there in 1999. It offers the hospitality of its 59 vacation villas, nestled behind palm trees and pristine sand. Ngapali is easily accessible by plane: domestic flights are available from Rangoon, Yeho, and Bagan. The landing airport is Thandwe Airport. The vacation village is just a 20-minute drive from the airport. Sandoway’s shuttle will pick you up at the airport and transfer you directly to the resort. The resort is located in Mya Pin, a humble fishing village. The beach is safe and free of coves.

Hotel rooms and suites

The vacation village Sandoway combines luxury and refinement by highlighting Burmese craftsmanship. The wooden decor, from floor to ceiling, creates a beautifully rustic ambiance! Construction materials also include marble and carved stone, crafted by local artisans.

When booking, tourists can choose from a wide range of rooms. There are Beach Front rooms, just a short walk from the beach; rooms with views of the tropical garden, ideal for nature lovers; upper-floor rooms with a panoramic terrace overlooking the ocean; and ground-floor rooms, comfortably cozy but not exceptional.

Living space is generous, ranging from 40 m² to 60 m². Furnishings include a twin or double bed with colonial mosquito net, a wardrobe, a coffee table, and an armchair. Flat-screen TV, tea and coffee facilities, and a minibar for a quick snack are provided. Each terrace is equipped with a hammock and sun loungers sheltered under a parasol. Hello relaxation!

Children are welcome, but pets are not allowed at Sandoway Resort.
