Staying at Fern Resort

Fern Resort is the perfect retreat to escape urban life and reconnect with nature. Nestled in a small valley 7 km from Mae Hong Son town, this ecotourism haven is surrounded by typical Thai natural landscapes. Views of mountains, jungle, rice paddies, and streams imbue a sense of serenity. For wildlife and flora enthusiasts, visiting the nearby Mae Surin National Park is a must.

Sleep in cozy bungalows

For total immersion, the resort invites you to stay in wooden bungalows designed in the local Shan style. Among the 30 available accommodations, there are suites that combine luxury with rustic charm. Their large windows offer views of the rice paddies or the creek, and you have a private balcony to relax in the open air. The Deluxe bungalows are also comfortable and peaceful, offering garden views.

The room decor at Fern Resort harmonizes with the surrounding nature, tastefully blending bamboo and teak with light fabrics and soft lighting. The furniture has been carefully selected for your comfort. Additionally, rooms are equipped with air conditioning and hot water in the bathrooms.

As the resort aims to reconnect you with nature, there are no TVs or telephones in the bungalows. Instead, you'll be accompanied by the sounds of the jungle, streams, and local life throughout your stay.

Enjoy the resort's many facilities

Indulge in a refreshing swim in the elevated pool amidst the rice paddies, followed by sunbathing on loungers offering stunning views of lush nature, cocktail in hand. Enjoy playing petanque? The hotel has the necessary facilities for you to test your skills.

For meals, experience a journey into Thai cuisine at the restaurant nestled in the woods. You'll have the opportunity to taste classic dishes from the country, as well as more unique offerings such as fried fern. Don't miss the barbecue nights and campfires at Fern Resort's outdoor bar.
