Boon Rawd Farm (Singha Park)

Formerly known as Boon Rawd Farm, Singha Park is considered the largest agricultural tourist attraction in all of Thailand. Singha Park is also one of the country's top tea producers. It is located in the northern part, specifically in the province of Chiang Rai. It is a vast area covering over 8,000 rai, with a large number of plants growing atop the hill. Visitors enjoy the natural setting and the surrounding hills, as well as the various activities available on-site: cycling, rock climbing, walking on a net, zoo, hot air balloon festival, and more. This magnificent amusement park is well worth a visit during your trip to northern Thailand.

A day at Boon Rawd Farm

Currently, Boon Rawd Farm (Singha Park), located near Chiang Rai, is a large farm as well as an amusement park. It can be described as one of the largest tea producers in Thailand, with its 237 acres of tea plantations and its annual production of 400 tons of quality tea. On-site, one can observe that the farm workers are local Thais. However, the park also consists of many highlanders from different tribes who all work together, each with unique lifestyles, traditions, and cultures.

Opened since December 2012, this lovely park offers, besides its Oolong tea plantations, various activities: a farm, a vegetable garden, a zip line, and even a zoo. Here, we can also learn more about tea culture and enjoy a good cup of tea.

The best way to enjoy the park is by renting bicycles. The suggested ride is very enjoyable. For the less athletic, a small tram is available for touring.

How to get there?

Located about a ten-minute drive from Chiang Rai, there is currently no public transportation connecting the city to the park.

With Sawa’Discovery, you can enjoy a driver in a private vehicle. Otherwise, the best option is to take a taxi or a tuk-tuk to get there.
