This is one of the must do thing in Thekkady. It is one of the most fascinating jeep safaris to Gavi which exhibits the colorful land surrounded by lush trees and forests where you will observe the natural beauty of the ecology and engaging yourself into many adventurous activities like trekking, bird watching, canoeing and boat riding. This biological garden is a heavenly place surrounded by majestic hills & valleys, tropical forests, sprawling grass lands, sholas, splendid waterfalls and cardamom plantation is a home for various endangered species like lion tailed macaque, Nilgiri tahrs etc. Our tour will starts at 5:30 am in the morning. The jeep will pick you from your respective accommodation to a scenic ride of 40kms through the amidst of the jungle. As you reach Gavi (Green mansion) you will be offered with a relaxing breakfast. You can start with your excursion from the view point to do the trekking specially accompanied by the trained guides who will end the visit to the Green mansion and do Lunch. After that you can go for canoeing in the Gavi Lake. In evening you can interact with the guides and the locals upon a cup of tea and some snacks. At the end you will be dropped back to the hotel accommodation.

There are TWO types of programs:

Day trip (5.30am to 5pm): 36kms Jungle Drive, 3kms Trekking and 1-2 hours Pedal Boat Ride < Breakfast and lunch included> Overnight camping at Gavi: 36kms Jungle Drive, 3kms Trekking, 1-2 hours Pedal Boat Ride and possible to stay in tent or bungalow

Timing: 5:30am to 4pm Facilities: Guide, food, view point, peddle boating & jeep safari Charges: Rs 2500 to 6500/- per person + park entrance fee
