Cambodia has recently relaunched its request to have the city of Koh Ker included in the UNESCO World Heritage list. This site has been pending since 1992, much like Phnom Kulen, Angkor Borei, Phnom Da, Oudong, Beng Mealea, Preah Khan, Banteay Chhmar, and Banteay Prei Nokor.
